Stockton, CA: So it all comes down to an end… Circus Imagination had a wonderful time at the last day of the 2011 San Joaquin County Fair! Our first show of the day was at 1:30 PM and it featured some extremely talented and young circus performers! We had Tina the Tight Rope Walker – you can see her in the picture below, Marco the Wild Animal trainer with his group of ferocious lions, tigers and bears, Champagne Sisters, Calamity Oakley the Cowgirl and the amazing Zazel the Human Cannon Ball!
The second show of the day was at 4:30 PM and it was a wild circus for sure! Check out the troop of wild animals ‘playing dead’ on the picture below! We had 22 kids in the show, and even a 2 year old baby cow who behaved so nicely we wanted to take her home with us! The last show of the day was at 7 PM, right as the sun is at an angle where it shoots a perfect line of light in our stage! It looks funny, since everybody has a bright stripe around their waist!
Now it’s time for the circus to pack the trunks and get ready to get on the road again! We would like to take some time to appreciate all the support given to us by the local community: you guys are awesome! Thank you to the San Joaquin County Fair for having us here and we hope to see you next year!
Stockton, CA: Hello everybody! It’s a hot day here at the 2011 San Joaquin County Fair! So warm we had the misters on all day underneath the circus tent! It’s amazing how much a little spraying water can cool us out so much! The sits underneath the misters were full all day long, not only during the show!
Well our first show of the day was at 1:30 PM and the circus featured Tina The Tight Rope Walker, Bobo the Clown chasing six Butterfly Ballerinas, Marco the Wild Animal trainer and his troop of lions, Champagne Sisters and 7 year-old Ellalyn as the amazing Human Cannon Ball – see her being lowered into the cannon on the picture below!
Circus Imagination’s second show of the day was at 4:30 PM and it was so much fun! When it was time for the Butterfly Ballerinas to dance on the stage one of them started running around the stage, while two other twirled around in different corners of the carpet and another little one just stood in place and looked confused… Yes, chaos definetly makes our show better! And it makes the Ringmaster work and the audience laught! This circus featured two very special performers: 14 year-old Alissa and 16 year-old Christina, from Lodi, CA; as Clara and Clarissa the Circus Butterfly Collecting Clowns! Check out their picture below!
The last show of the day was at 7 PM and it featured 6 acts and about 25 children from ages 4 to 15! Our audience seats were all taken and we pretty much ran out of animal costumes – check out our troop of wild animals working hard as the sun shine on their faces on the picture below!
Well, that’s all folks!
See you tomorrow at the fair!
Stockton, CA: Hello ladies and jellybeans! Today is “handicapable” day at the fair so Circus Imagination started early with a show at 11 AM. We had Tina the Tight Rope Walker, Butterfly Ballerinas and Bobo the Clown, Calamity Oakley the Cowgirl and also Enrique, a very talented cowboy that amazed our audience with his trick shooting! – Check out his picture below.
At 1:30 PM Circus Imagination had a second show with 20 volunteers! We covered almost all the circus acts! Check out Tina the Tight Rope Walker on the picture below and our crowd of volunteers behind her! This show featured children of all ages – from 3 to 15 years old – and also a 46 year-old Cowgirl that was definetly a child in heart! This circus had the very special visit of our darling circus friend Molly and her friend Madison! It was great to see you guys again, too bad we didn’t get a picture!
Our third show of the day was at 4:30 and even through the hot weather did its best to drain out everybody’s energy we managed to cheer up a big group of kids and put on a show! The highlight of this circus were 12 year-old Savannah and 17 year-old Jyssica from Modesto, CA who performed the part of the acrobats Champagne Sisters! They did a little extra goofing around on the stage and left us thinking… maybe they were on the wrong act! Next time we’ll make you guys Clara & Clarissa the Clowns! Check out their picture below!
The last show of the day was at 7 PM and it was a great circus! Thank you to all the kids who volunteered to be a part of our show, you guys are awesome! And now you can have your own circus at home!
Stockton, CA: Everybody knows this is the first time Circus Imagination is at the San Joaquin County Fair in Stockton and we would like to state that we feel very welcomed by the local community! We had great feedback from the children that participated in our show so far and also very positive comments from their parents! We would like to thank the local paper “The Record” for all the attention and support! They printed a story about us on Tuesday’s issue, beautifully written by Jo Ann Kirby – there’s a link for it on the blog post for June 14th – but that isn’t all! Katie Combs, a member of the newspaper crew came back to the fair to film a piece about Circus Imagination! And it turned out wonderfully! Click on any of the links below to watch it!

Our BIG thank you of the week goes to “The Record” for taking an interest in what we do and for helping us to spread our word: KIDS ARE BETTER OFF PLAYING OUTSIDE AND USING THEIR IMAGINATIONS!
Stockton, CA: Hello kids! It’s the second day of the 2011 San Joaquin County Fair and we are having a wonderful time with all the local children – and teenagers! The first show of Circus Imagination today was at 1:30 PM and we had Tina the Tight Rope Walker, a very talented wild animal trainer that controlled perfectly his troop of animals that included three lions, a leopard, two elephants, a monkey and a gorilla in a clown suit! We also had the Champagne Sisters from Paris, France, the tricky Calamity Oakley the Cowgirl and Zazel the Human Cannon Ball!
The second show of the day was at 4:30 PM and we definetly used up lots of imagination points! We had the special appearance of 7 year old Annete, from Stockton as Tina the Tight Rope Walker, you can see her great balancing skills on the picture below. The cutest thing happened when we shot the Human Cannon Ball out of the cannon: when he came back running from behind the audience this 5 year-old kid shouted in surprise: “Oh my god his face changed!”
The third show of the day was at 7 PM and it was a great way to wrap up another great Circus Imagination day at the fair! Check out the picture below with our official, and adorable, circus helpers of the week sitting beside Carol the Costumier from left to right: 8 year-old Oceana, 9 year-old Ariana and 4 year-old Ajulene! Thank you girls for all your great energy and laughs!
Well, that’s it folks! See you tomorrow here under the Big Top at the 2011 San Joaquin County Fair!

The circus featured Tina the Tight Rope Walker, Dead Eye McBang the Cowboy, Butterfly Ballerinas, Lion Tamer and his troop of ferocious animals and the Grand Finale: Zazel the Human Cannon Ball! Below is a picture of two very special volunteers, 6 year-old Emily and 8 year-old Elizabeth from Stockton, Ca. Thank you for joining the show girls, you were amazing in your performances!
