Last Fair of the Season!

Tres Pinos, CA: The San Benito County Fair was the last stop of this circus train for the season! The fair is located next to Bolado Park at 9000 Airline Hwy. Tres Pinos, CA 95075. It started on Friday, September 30th and ended today (Sunday, October 2nd). For more information about the fair call (831) 628-3421.

It is the 2nd time Circus Imagination is part of the San Benito County Fair, and we keep on having more fun every year!

Throughout the fair Circus Imagination turned kids ages from 3 to 12 into instant circus performers! The circus featured daily tightrope walkers, wild animals and trainer, clowns, acrobats, cowboys and cowgirls, strongman, butterfly ballerinas, animal parades and even human cannon balls! Check some of the highlights of the 2011 San Benito County Fair for Circus Imagination on the pictures below!

We would like to take a moment to thank everybody that joined our show, as well as those who sat, watched & applauded the kids – your positive encouragement is a big part of their experience when they are on the Circus Imagination stage. We also want to send a big thanks to the San Benito County Fair for having us back this year!

KIDS: Remember to make your own circus in your own backyard this winter, and come tell us all about it next year! Take pictures and send it to us! We are opening a spot on the Circus Imagination Blog to display your Circus Creations! We already have pictures of one family backyard circus to feature soon!

Have a great winter! Hope to see you next year!

Well, see you later alligator!

Today our first show of the day welcomed Tina the Tight Rope Walker, and for the first time at Circus Imagination the princesses Champagne Sisters…. Check them out the picture below. The funniest thing was that on the second show of the day we also had a something new at the circus! Have you ever heard about how intelligent monkeys are? We here at Circus Imagination can prove that theory! We had a gorilla taming a troop of wild animals today! He made a leopard, a lion cub, a pony and a confused monkey roll over and play dead, show their claws, hooves and paws and jump through the hula-loop of fire! The unexpected always happens at out circus! Also on the pictures you can see a little “future-human-cannon-ball” on her dad’s lap with mom as the Strong Circus Woman and Ringmaster Caton posing for a lovely family pic!

We also found this awesome quote about our show in the Santa Cruz Parent Newsletter (for last year) and thought it would be nice to share! Here’s a print screen of the website, or click on the link to see the whole newsletter.

Horse ‘N Around

Monterey, CA: Hello everybody! Circus Imagination has been very busy here at the 2011 Monterey County Fair, so let’s catch up!
The first picture below is from Friday’s shows. The highlights are Tina the Tight Rope Walker and Calamity Oakley the Cowgirl – she cames back to be part of our show every year at the MCF since the first time Circus Imagination was here at this fair!
Saturday’s picture is the next one below with the Butterfly Ballerinas and the Cupcake Eating Competition hosted by the Ringmaster & judged by Costumier. It was sponsored by Mrs Delish Designer Cupcakes – who presented us with some out of this world cupcakes! The cherry bomb was definetly my favorite!
Today (Sunday) we had three awesome shows with great and enthusiastic kids and even a come-backer that was part of our show 4 years ago at the Kids Fest in Concord, CA – he is the lion tamer in the last set of pictures with the red curtains. Right next to him check out our new orangutan costume! Isn’t him fuzzy and hugable!?!
We have a couple more pictures to share. Since the fair theme this year is Horse ‘N Around at the fair the Circus Imagination poneys have been on the spotlight day after day! They are such a big hit nobody can get enough of their cuteness!  Photographer Mike Beck took a picture of our circus poney going through the ring of fire! Check it down below!
Last but not least is a picture of Ringmaster Caton & Costumier Carolina with a couple of our darling Circus Friends Wendy Brickman and Jody Hansen!
See you later aligators!
Tomorrow is the last day for Circus Imagination here at the 2011 Monterey County Fair, we have three shows at 1 PM, 3 PM & 5 PM! Come be a circus performer for a day under the blue & yellow Big Top!
