The first illustration I ever drew for Circus Imagination was about eight years ago and it was meant to be a bumper sticker. It portraited the letters CIRCUS IMAGINATION each as an individual character shaped as a letter.
We used to live in Calistoga, Napa Valley. I remember drawing that at the same time I sewed the lion and tiger heads.
