Hot Hot Hot! AV Fair 2012!

Lancaster,CA: Hello everybody! Circus Imagination is here at the 2012 Antelope Valley Fair! It is hot out here, the temperature has been around the 100s all week, but we do have one weapon against this heat: misters! So if you come to the fair and you need a place to cool off come sit down underneath the blue & yellow big top by the kiddie carnival and get misted!

We have 3 shows everyday at 5PM, 6:30PM and 8PM! These past couple days we have had some great kids (and teenagers) in our show, even with this extreme heat they were still full of enthusiasm and energy! We also have a new set of costumes for the Champagne Sisters – you can see it in the picture, they are really sparkly with beautiful sequin butterflies!

Check out some of our star kids on the picture below! See you soon!

Here we go again!

Lancaster, CA: Hello everybody! Today was our last day here at the AV Fair! Circus Imagination had a wonderful time here for the past 10 days! We had hundreds of happy volunteers that joined our show and at least half of them went home with the idea of making their own circus on their own backyard!
We would like to thank the Antelope Valley Fair & Alfafa Festival for having us here and also to everybody that watched and participated in our show: you guys are great! Thanks for the laughter and wonderful vibe!

Our Mary Poppins Moment

Lancaster, CA: It’s the day before fair starts, we wake up early to set up the tent, the weather is pretty normal, it’s about 11 AM and the heat it’s just starting to build up, there’s no wind. When the tent was up & ready and it was time to steak it down to the ground – with no rush, because as I said before, there was zero wind – then all of the sudden this gust of wind blew so strong and so fast that picked up the whole 30×30 foot tent off the ground and then brought it down on top of our trailer. Circus Imagination had a moment of flying circus! Nobody got hurt, some poles got bent, some couplings needed a little bit of welding, but we got it all fixed in time for fair opening!

Mr. Banks: Just a moment, Mary Poppins. What is the meaning of this outrage?
Mary Poppins: I beg your pardon?
Mr. Banks: Will you be good enough to explain all this?
Mary Poppins: First of all, I would like to make one thing quite clear.
Mr. Banks: Yes?
Mary Poppins: I never explain anything.
